EAST END GARDEN

After an extensive indoor renovation, the clients of this East end home were looking to surround themselves with nature and moments in the garden that would remind them of their time on camping trips and hikes in the country. A plant pallet utilizing many native species was augmented with hardy perennials to allow this busy family with young children a low maintenance but engaging outdoor experience. Natural stone walkways and stairs provide plenty of circulation throughout and in the small urban backyard, an open concept car port and bike/stroller shed keep the spaces free for multi-use in an area that otherwise might feel quite confined.
