CELESTE TOOGOOD LANDSCAPES is a landscape design practice that focuses on creating site specific, sensitive and high quality designs ranging from small urban lots to large rural retreats. The installation of each projects is carried out with the skills of qualified and professional experts in their fields.
Attention to detail and the use of appropriate plants and building materials for each individual site is the foundation for a successful project.
Our motivation is to create timeless, beautiful spaces integrated harmoniously with local flora and fauna. A garden is constantly growing, shifting and evolving; it is not static and we strive to create low maintenance gardens that can evolve with the site as it gracefully ages. We believe this can be done in an ecologically sustainable way without using harmful chemical inputs or aggressive maintenance techniques.
Thoughtfully designed plant communities incorporate native plants whenever possible, woven in amongst the artful framework of hardscaping elements such as patios, decks, pools and garden structures.
Each project is a collaboration with the client and an intersection of landscape, ecology, art and architecture.
